A Gift in Your Will
Including a legacy to Arc in your Will costs you little now but is an enormous gift of hope for some of the most vulnerable in our society.

A gift in your will, no matter the size, can help Arc to provide more projects or accommodation, helping us to put an end to the suffering of homelessness and inspire lives.

When making or amending your Will, after your gifts to those closest to you, please consider making a legacy to Arc.

Including us in your Will is simple.

You will need to provide your Solicitor with our registered details, including:

Arc is registered under the Co-Operative and Community Benefit Society, our registration number is: 23680R. (Please note we are registered as Taunton Association for the Homeless)

Gifts in Kind
As well as monetary donations we are also very grateful for donations of items that we use on a regular basis to assist our clients.

As we house over 170 people and many of our clients come to us with little belongings, we are always in need of items that can make our accommodation well equipped, comfortable and welcoming.

As well as this, we like to provide clients with the basics when they find and move on into their own private accommodation. By this point, they’ve come so far and we all know how difficult it can be to start up your own home with lots of expenses!

We advise that you always call ahead to ensure we are currently in need. Although we are always very grateful for items, we have limited storage so may not be able to accept donations that aren't needed immediately.

If you have an item and you're unsure if we can accept it, please give us a call on 01823 271326 or email us on [email protected] and we can advise you if it's needed.

If you have an item to deliver to us please always call us in advance so we can advise you of the best location to drop off to and to ensure we are waiting at the other end to accept it.

On occasions, we may be able to collect larger items such as furniture. However this will be dependant on need as well as time and staff constraints. We can only pick up within Taunton.

Corporate Support
As a local charity, helping those in our community, we’d love to join up with local businesses and work together to end homelessness. Your impact as a team could be huge!

There are plenty of opportunities and ways for you to help as a corporate team. You could look at holding fundraisers in work, such as bake sales or dress down days, or set up Payroll Giving so the charity can benefit from a monthly donation.

A great way to get involved is to get a team together and take part in our annual Big Sleep Out – a fantastic team builder and an eye opening experience for all.

Alternatively, there are always volunteering opportunities should your team want to spend a day out, helping the community.
