Here at Arc, volunteers are invaluable to our work, providing all the extra important services that help our clients in many different ways.
From collecting food donations, to running a college course, our range of volunteering opportunities means there is something suitable for everyone and we’d love to have you on board!
All volunteers must be 18 years old or above and may need to have a full DBS check before working with clients. Please take a look at our volunteering opportunities below or contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Emma Dunn for more information: [email protected]
Thank you for showing an interest in volunteering with Arc. Due to coronavirus we are severely restricted in what we can ask people to do to help out at this difficult time.
We sometimes need people to volunteer for a weekly food collection, and occasionally one-off donations, for our Lindley House hostel. Although not currently the case, in future we may also need people to collect prescriptions or shopping for our clients. If you are able to help with this, please contact Emma Dunn: [email protected]
Alternatively you can sign up to a local exchange which has been set up by Spark in Somerset, where volunteers are being matched with those individuals or organisations who need support: https://www.corona-helpers.co.uk/
Once we have all emerged on the other side of the pandemic we will be looking to recruit volunteers for a number of roles, so please check back here if you would like to get involved in the future.
